结果状语从句就是表示结果的状语从句，其连词主要有：so that, such that, with the result that, so...that..., such...that...等。结果状语从句要置于主句之后。

一、基本模式。举例：

She sat behind me so that / such that / with the result that I could not see the expression on her face. 她坐在我后面，我无法看到她脸上的表情。

二、so...that... 和 such...that...。

1. so + 形容词 / 副词 + that...。举例：

He speaks so fast that no one could catch him. 他说话太快，没人能听明白。

2. such + 名词 + that...。举例：

He's such a good person that we mustn't blame him. 他人这么好，我们不能怪他。

3. so + 形容词 + 单数名词 + that...。举例：

He's so good a person that we mustn't blame him. 他人这么好，我们不能怪他。

4. so + many / much / few / little + that...。举例：

He gave me so little time that it was impossible for me to finish the work on time. 他给我的时间太少了，以至于我无法按时完成工作。
